The Lions football team came from behind to beat Dartmouth in dramatic fashion at this year’s Homecoming game at Robert K. Kraft Field. Battling rain and forty-mile-per-hour wind gusts, freshman place kicker Oren Milstein hit three field goals, including the game-winner, scoring with one minute to go in the third quarter to lift Columbia 9–7. The Lions defense then held firm, stopping the Big Green on their last drive, which ended when their placekicker missed a field goal with just twenty-seven seconds left in the game. “It was an awesome win,” said Columbia head coach Al Bagnoli. “I couldn’t be happier for our kids, our alumni, and the entire Columbia football community.”
