Melanie Bernitz ’12PH, a primary-care physician and associate professor of medicine who since 2016 has led Columbia Health, was recently promoted to the newly created position of senior vice president for Columbia Health, in recognition of her leadership and her unit’s role in guiding faculty, staff, and students through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Columbia Health is composed of more than 150 medical providers, including therapists, psychiatrists, and specialists, dedicated to supporting the University community.
