A new exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art celebrates the 150th anniversary of Frank Lloyd Wright’s birth. Organized by Columbia professor and MoMA curator Barry Bergdoll ’77CC, ’86GSAS and Avery Library. From June 12 to October 1.

 
WATCH

Academy Award–winning director Kathryn Bigelow ’81SOA is releasing her latest film, Detroit, which recounts a particularly violent incident from that city’s 1967 race riot. In theaters August 4.

 
CRUISE

The Columbia Alumni Association’s Alumni Travel Study Program mixes learning and leisure at sea. Destinations include the South China Sea and the Chilean fjords of Patagonia.

Take a guided historical and architectural tour of the Morningside campus, starting at Low Library. Weekday tours are held from June 1 to August 31.
