The School of General Studies is offering a new dual-degree program with Tel Aviv University in Israel, beginning this fall.

Students in the program, which is focused in the humanities and social sciences, will spend two years at Tel Aviv University before coming to Columbia to complete the University’s Core Curriculum and their major. They will receive a bachelor’s degree from each institution.

“By giving students the opportunity to study full-time at a top-tier university in the Middle East before bringing them to study in the Ivy League, we are ensuring that students will not only benefit from being immersed in a wide range of cultures and experiences but also make an immense contribution to the Columbia undergraduate classroom,” says School of General Studies dean Lisa Rosen-Metsch ’90GS.
