Allison Janae Hamilton ’10GSAS, a visual artist and School of the Arts MFA candidate who is known for her haunting images of the American South, was a finalist in the Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition, a juried contest run by the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery, in Washington, DC. Her work ''Haints at Swamp II'' (above) will be on display there through January 8, 2017.
